We’ve made our mission to capture the very essence of Scotland’s rich and varied landscapes in each of our perfumes.

First Lavender!

We planted the first lavender plants all the way back in 2015 on a steep section of the farm that had been used for growing cereals for generations.

Diversified to Other Crops

The lavender having survived its first winter, we decided to explore other aromatic plants.

First Harvest

The lavender was ready for its first harvest after two summers.  We still had no idea if Scottish lavender essential oil would be as good as French or English quality. But we were confident that the long day-light hours and mild summers - along with the ideal field conditions - would yield something special.

Perfecting our Craft

After five years of iterations, tweaking, and growing, we now produce some of the finest slow-growing essential oils in the world. We use these oils exclusively in our perfumes.

Our farm, Scottish Lavender Oils, has become one of the UK's leading in alternative crop distillation.

Bringing Authenticity to Perfumery

We are incredibly proud to produce perfumes that encapsulate Scotland's natural heritage.  By growing, distilling and blending - all by ourselves - we offer a unique authenticity that stands alone in the perfume industry.

We are a team of botanists, distillers, and artisan perfumers who have dedicated ourselves to the art of scent.

Our journey began with a vision: to create a line of perfumes that weren’t just fragrances, but storytellers – evoking the rolling hills, the rugged coastline, and the historic charm of Scotland. With this vision, St Andrews Perfumery was born, rooted in the traditions of the land it celebrates.

We believe that true luxury lies in authenticity and a deep connection to the environment. It’s this belief that inspires our commitment to grow, distill, blend, and bottle our perfumes right here on our Scottish farm.

Each ingredient is selected for its quality and character.

Lavender, rosemary, and a cornucopia of other herbs flourish under the long summer days unique to our climate, each contributing to the complex essential oils that are the foundation of our scents. Using copper alembic stills, we distill these plants, capturing concentrated fragrances that are as pure as they are potent.

Our perfumes are the culmination of this loving process, a marriage between traditional methods and modern innovation. Each ingredient is selected for its quality and character, with sustainable practices guiding our hand from soil to bottle.

We promise to bring you perfumes that are as sustainable as they are exquisite.

Our perfumes are not just made in Scotland – they are a living, breathing homage to our Scottish heritage.

We invite you to discover the scents that not only tell the story of Scotland but also celebrate the unspoken bond between the wearer and the wild. Join us in this sensory journey that is woven into the fabric of Scotland’s dramatic scenery.
